When it comes to Apple, most of us immediately thinks about the HIGH pricing. We start budgeting and thinks about the opportunity cost mechanism. On a lighter note, Every Apple fan gets excited when a new model just released, why, because they can now afford Apple’s older model.
But, this struggle is over for iPad lovers. Apple announced a new iPad, and this one comes with a price cut. It’s quite rare for Apple to release a full-sized iPad at such a low price.
Apple’s new 9.7-inch iPad now costs $329. Compare that with Apple’s 9.7-inch iPad Pro, which starts at $599.
Here is what you need to know:
- The new iPad starts at $329 for 32 GB with Wi-Fi. The price increases to $459, if you want a cellular.
- It comes in Silver, Gold and Space Gray.
- It does not support Apple’s stylus, the Apple Pencil.
- For this new iPad, Apple dropped the Air nomenclature and made the screen brighter.
“iPad is the world’s most popular tablet,” Phil Schiller, Apple’s head of marketing.
He further said:
“Customers love the large, 9.7-inch display for everything from watching TV and movies, to surfing the web, making FaceTime calls, and enjoying photos, and now it is even more affordable.”
Apple also dropped the price of storage for its iPad Mini 4, which has a 7.9-inch screen. The $399 model now comes with 128 GB of storage.
